Miniclip launches Dr Seuss’ THE LORAX online and iPhone games for Universal Pictures International with a media campaign spanning 8 countries

To promote Universal Pictures International’s latest family animation Dr Seuss’ THE LORAX, Universal and TED@Mediacom have worked with SunChaser Media and Miniclip to produce a fun and engaging game available on web and IOS. The game, “Marshmallow Munch”, will be available worldwide and will be supported with an online media campaign across 8 markets.

Since launching the web based version on the 15th March, the 40-level puzzle game has already achieved over 500,000+ unique game plays, with an average game play time of 12 minutes: The iPhone game version will be available from April 12th from the iTunes store. Both versions of the game are promoted through editorial on Miniclip’s website, with 65 million monthly unique visitors, on their iPhone games, their Facebook page and with homepage takeovers in 8 markets.

Danny DeVito will lend his vocal talents to the iconic title character of THE LORAX, while Ed Helms will voice the enigmatic Once-ler. Also bringing their talents to the film are global superstars Zac Efron as Ted, the idealistic young boy who searches for THE LORAX, and Taylor Swift as Audrey, the girl of Ted’s dreams. Rob Riggle will play financial king O’Hare, and beloved actress Betty White will portray Ted’s wise Grammy Norma.
